In this film Anushka appears as fatty woman who always likes to swallow laddu,samosa,jangri what ever she gets.But her mother is in search of an NRI to get her married to. What was adding fun is that that heroine grand father is suffering diabetic and he likes her grand daughter eats eell so that she can watch. This ultimately puts her over obese.

The film directed by Prakash Kovalamudi concentrates on general weight aspects but couldn't succeed much in the narration.

' 'Kathakali',Rajini Murugan, 'Gethu' and 'Tharai Thappattai' are the four films that are released on Pongal.

Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan is well received comedy film.It is a story hero settling the dispute in a family.

Kathakali is a thriller film where Vishal is exuberant directed by Pandiraj.

Gethu is also a crime thriller that takes place in a village directed by Thirukumaran.

Tharai Thappattai is about dance artists directed by Bala of  Pithamagan.

The producer of Kabali Dhanu said that the film was sold for a huge price of Rs 8.5 Crores.He further added that is why he is called Super Star and has been a great power of force in Tamil Nadu.

Especially the Republic Day honor  that is Padma Vibhushan being conferred on him is a great news to every one.

In the movie Kabali Rajni comes as an ageing gangster.

International Indian Film Academy Utsavam

International Indian Film Awards are regularly meant for Hindi stars given annually for achievements in cinema field.But this year it was decided to Southern film stars from Kerala,Andhra,Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
