Tamil romantic comedy film Raja Rani is directed by debutant Atlee Kumar. The multi-starrer film features Arya, Jai, Nayanthara, Nazriya Nizam, Sathyan, Sathyaraj in important roles. Comedy actor Santhanam is incharge of comedy for the film. "Raja Rani" is jointly produced by Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios. Music Director G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music for "Raja Rani", which has cinematography by George Williams.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Thalaivaa being the biggest release of 2013 will hit the screens on 9^th of August.  This film also adds more excitement to Ilayathalapathy fans as Thalaivaa will be the landmark 100^th Tamil film to release during 2013. Recently Vijay's Thalaivaa that cleared censors with U certificate and the film is directed by AL Vijay and Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Amala Paul starrer , is the 100^th Tamil cinema releasing in 2013.
